It’s open! 25 June 2020
Seaside Park at Moana is another brand new play space opening right before the July school holidays. How lucky are we!
Located in the ‘Seaside at Moana’ estate, this fabulous brand spanking new playground is so good, the locals wanted to keep it their little secret! You can absolutely see why with the pics below. It is lacking a bit of shade at the moment, but that is to be expected in a new development and will no doubt improve as the freshly planted trees start to grow. We did also notice a lack of toilets which is hopefully something that can be added too very soon!
We love the space and room for the kids to run around, with a fantastic pirate ship and sand play for the little ones, plus some great climbing rope equipment. It really is suited to all ages with nature play and some water play too! Winning! Chuck in some slides, swings and bring the footy or a frisbee (great spot for a kite we reckon too…especially once the oval grass is established enough to be used properly!) and it is a great spot for the locals. There is some undercover shade, but not a lot sadly so pack a hat and suncream.
Plenty of off street parking too and although it isn’t fenced, being tucked away in a quiet development away from main roads, as well as being well set back from the street, it worked well for our little ones.
We would love to see some toilets (nearest we can think of are at Moana beach about 3 minutes away) and some BBQs too, but Bradley’s bakery is our recommendation for your nearby coffee fix but Moana esplanade is full of funky coffee options too!
